Complete splintered screw-retained horse-shoe shaped restoration – Dentist J. Ignacio Armanino

Patient: 51 years old woman with no existing pathologies.

The reason for the consultation was “I am disgusted by my prosthesis”.

Treatment plan: placement of non-immediate load implants, keeping the existing prosthetics until the implants are osseointegrated. The extractions were done on the date of implant activation. The prosthetic rehabilitation time was maintained with healing abutments at soft tissue level in order to be able to maintain the existing prosthetic.

The final design was a complete splintered screw-retained horse-shoe shaped restoration.
